Pride Indeed...

 The following takes place in a mythological setting; the events and circumstances are entirely products of my fevered imagination. It is, however, not difficult to believe that such things will soon become all-too-solid reality, given the current course of events.

The Overlord is not engaging in "Hate Speech", but is rather engaged in "parody". The intent is not to offend or "other" or ostracize, let alone incite violence towards others, but to ...umm...ah...engender (facepalm)...a clearer thought process about the road we are currently on, and where it will (not "might") eventually lead us.

This is Sarcasm.

Match(less) Game...

 Author's Note: Apologies for not having posted much recently. There are a variety of reasons for such, prime among them having run afoul of Google's newest (and most-pernicious) algos that have been flagging posts retroactively as "in violation of community standards", a situation in which a) no one, even Google, can specify exactly what standard we're talking about, and b) why something that wasn't a violation five years ago suddenly became one now. In addition, work has been a bear -- I'm now working night shifts -- and massively chaotic. Post about that to follow. In the meantime, check this out.

P.S. I'm definitely going to stop doing this sometime soon, and switch back to podcasting, which I rather enjoyed. Stay tuned.

Fighting With Google...

Blogging has been slow in recent weeks because Google has started -- retroactively, years after the fact  -- labeling my posts as being "In Violation of Community Standards" and putting them behind warnings.

Two things:

1. I know the Community you're speaking of, and they have no standards.

2. There is a pattern in what is being put behind a warning and what is not, and one suspects the usual assortment of feminists and transsexuals.

I am now officially DONE with fucking Blogger.

But I am not going away, Gentle Reader. 

Check in every so often for news on this front. Podcasting and subscription blog services are so much better, and I'm headed in that direction.
