Douchebag of the Week (Week Ending 8/18/18 - Robert Mueller)

""Nip the shoots of arbitrary power" is the only maxim which can preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, destroyers and betrayers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The encroachment upon the American constitution is such as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners and the pensioners urge for more revenue. The people grow less steady, spirited and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day expands the circles of the dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit and frugality become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness and downright venality swallow up the whole society." -- John Adams "

It's time to end this farce.

Word has come that several news organizations -- among them the New York Times and CNN, naturally -- have have filed legal requests for the jury in the Paul Manafort tax-evasion trial be identified, their names and addresses made available to the Press BEFORE a verdict is rendered in the case, ostensibly so that they may be interviewed, asked for opinions, and provide commentary in the national interest.

This seems to be an exercise in putting carts before horses, and in today's charged political climate, a dangerous precedent to set. The judge, flabbergasted by the request and possessing a common sense that is all-too-lacking in today's world, denied it. There can be little doubt what the intent of that request was: the left -- it's vanguard in the press, above all -- sees it's chance of nailing Donald Trump on any charge of "collusion with the Russians" slipping away, and is so desperate it will attempt to dig up dirt on American citizens doing their duty so as to pressure them into a verdict which might not be borne out by the evidence.

Some legal experts have opined that this unusual request has been triggered because the jury asked the judge to repeat the definition of "reasonable doubt", which signals to some the potentiality that Manafort will not be spending any time in an orange jumpsuit.

Given the American Press' propensity to attack American citizens for holding points of view that do not jibe with the enlightened liberal elite's, and for left-wing whackjobs to open fire, pitch a riot, doxx, boycott employers, and camp on people's lawns to intimidate them into conformity and supplication, this is tantamount to pointing a loaded gun at these jurors.

The judge in this Stalinesque show trial has received threatening phone calls. So have several jurors (so someone already knows who some of them are, and maybe where they live, as well).

The Overlord is not a lawyer (thank whatever you hold holy for that!) and has no opinion on the guilt or innocence of Mr. Manafort. In the long run, whether Manafort spends time in a concrete resort with bars or not is irrelevant; there have been others who have done far worse than hide income from the government still haunting the woods of Chappaqua in an inebriated state repeating the words "Wisconsin...fucking Wisconsin!" like a disembodied evil spirit from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", or "The Fall of the House of Usher".

What concerns your Galactic Lord and Master here is the unrivaled abuse of power by the primary players in this Kabuki of Dumbfuck.

We begin with the "Special" Counsel, Robert Mueller.

If the "special" refers to someone with a host of mental diseases or apparent learning disability, then the word is apropos.

Originally empowered to investigate the extent and effects of "Russian interference in the 2016 Election", specifically, what sort of Russian "interference" "stole" an election from Hillary Clinton, the inquiry has gone far afield. Let us not forget that this -- the Clinton loss at the ballot box -- is the impetus for this investigation. The democrat (small 'd' intentional) party had this thing rigged a dozen ways to Sunday, they believed. The trail of hacked and leaked e-mails and other messages makes this clear.

The DNC hack revealed that the fix was in to keep Bernie Sanders away from the nomination, no matter what it cost, and no matter what subversion of the nomination process had to be undertaken. In the end, Bernie proved to be bribed cheaply into meekly accepting.

Like a good little capitalist.

The DNC hack also made it plain that the press was in Clinton;'s pocket, even providing her with debate questions beforehand, so that she could formulate and focus-group test the best possible bullshit answers that would score her points among the fucktarded.

The same DNC hack revealed that the DNC, so broke it couldn't even afford to pay attention, was being kept alive by infusions of cash from....Hillary and her PACs. It had become, de facto and de jure, an auxiliary of Clinton, Inc. There were the "polite requests" that electors to the Electoral College simply put the results aside and vote the "right" way...for Hillary.

Followed by real threats when mere implication wasn't enough.

There was WikiLeaks, where we discovered that as Secretary of State, Hillary had about as much concern for national security and classified documents as Anthony Weiner had for his wife. Speaking of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Danger, it turned out that not only had Hillary and her staff been extraordinarily flagrant about flouting security rules concerning official documents, but had gone through the rigors of smashing Blackberries and wiping bathroom servers with Bleach Bit and possibly burning documents (one imagines) in a recreation of the destruction of the Library of Alexandria, in an effort to destroy evidence....only to have it show up on Weiner's sperm-stained laptop.

Alas, the morons were unaware that the internet is forever, that data is never destroyed, and you just don't know where it might turn up. That they turned up on the laptop of said notorious internet masturbater months after James Comey cleared Clinton of any wrongdoing is proof of this dictum...and it forced Comey to reverse course a week before the election and re-open his non-investigated investigation.

An investigation that was halted without deposing a single witness under oath, without having examined a single server or electronic device, it tuned out.
This was not in the plan.

We'll get back to Comey in a few minutes. Let's just pause here to remind everyone on the left why Hillary Clinton lost and it has nothing to do with Russians, republican vote fraud (because you guys have that market cornered), the weather, space aliens, Macedonian content farms, white women betraying their sisters, or the eternal mystery of why hot dogs come in packages of 10 but buns in packages of 8.

It is this: Hillary Clinton is a terrible person, and when I say "terrible" I mean that if Bubonic Plague and AIDS had a love child, it would be Hillary Clinton. I mean that if you had to rate your worst nightmare as something between "being captured by ISIS" and " dying of cancer of the Asshole", Hillary would still beat them both, hands down, by a country mile. The woman is so vile, so phony, so venal, so snotty, so monumentally retarded and self-interested, that she makes every Kardashian look like a Rhodes Scholar and philanthropist.

Hillary Clinton would have been to the American Presidency what Liquid Plumber would be to feminine hygiene. Her Heinous was so obviously unworthy of the job that the only places they didn't get it were New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Hillary made Stalin look like a ballerina; she made Mao look like a game show host.

The assortment of...creeps...that emanates from this woman, the phony laughter, the goggle-eyed fake surprise, the false erudition that has been clapped together by a couple of grad students and rehearsed right down to the unrealistic smile and deliberately-calculated "casual" gesture, is something reminiscent of the best Hitlerian speeches.

The coughing, the fainting, the sallow skin, the appearance of dust and cobwebs in her wig (because even that is inauthentic, I'll bet), gave you no confidence. We were looking at the shell of a human being, both figuratively and literally. I don't think Hillary Clinton ever had anything "inside" that could be considered a "human" trait other than pure, unadulterated, implacable ambition. Like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton was an empty vessel into which you could pour whatever hopes, dreams, aspirations you wanted into. She'd say anything, do anything, adopt any policy -- even ones that contradicted her stance from the day before -- just to be president.

In the world of politics, Hillary Clinton is like Jell-O; it will fill every nook and cranny you pour it into and then set into the shape of it's mold, but never be substantial enough to do much more than support a dollop of Cool Whip, never filling enough to satisfy, and so full of artificial everything you wonder why anyone would ever deliberately choose it.

It was all there to see: 30 years in the spotlight, covered in the muck of scandal. There wasn't any crime or questionable circumstance you could think of that Hillary did not have some connection to, whether by guilt, association or allusion; insider trading in cattle markets;a cheating husband; stinky real estate deals; obstruction of justice; withholding evidence; murder and/or apparent suicide (under the Clintons, this was snidely referred to as "Arkancide"); campaign finance violations; stealing the White House furniture; smearing opponents and citizens who crossed her; using public office for private gain; running a "charity" that for all intents and purposes is an influence-peddling scheme; giving birth to Chelsea.

The Mega-Feminist never accomplished a damned thing that her husband hadn't procured or provided for her -- business connections, First Lady, a Senate Seat, appointment as Secretary of State -- and yet, she was hailed as "the Smartest Woman in the World" (so smart she claimed to never know her husband was porking everything with a heartbeat) and became the feminist ideal...if by "ideal" you mean "clueless succubus who makes good by marrying a complete cad and then plays the victim card for all it's worth, being promoted far above her abilities, only to leave a trail of fuck ups and suicides with three bullets in the back of their heads behind her."

Whitewater leads to Benghazi.

A liar, a cheat, a thief, a charlatan, a mere mouth that uttered whatever her handlers stuffed into her; a person without a single core value beyond achieving power so as to personally benefit.

That's who you stood for election, Lefties. That's who you wanted to win. I know that to you guys a public servant's job is not to be a model of propriety -- even if they have to feign such just to get elected -- but to merely ensure the checks arrive on time, but even YOU had to be holding your nose when pulling the lever.

That was the bloated, decaying carcass that the entire democrat (small 'd' intentional) apparatus from the President of the United States, to the chairpersons of the DNC, to the Press, to the unofficial government of self-appointed-elitist political hacks and professional bureaucrats, to the ward heelers who bribed the homeless to the polls with tuna sandwiches and menthol cigarettes, tried to drag across the finish line.

I'd say you should be ashamed, but I know none of you has any.

Thankfully, you failed.

The machinations behind this attempt were exposed by people named Assange and Guccifer.

And this is the genesis of the "Russian Collusion" nonsense.

It began with Executive Orders under Barack Obama relaxing some of the rules pertaining to the surveillance of America citizens under the Patriot Act. It continued when complete and utter fucktards like Samatha Powers and Susan Rice were making hundreds of "unmasking" requests a day and then pissing in reporter's ears. There was the Steele Dossier, a work of pure fiction compiled with Hillary's money. It involved putting spies into the camp of a political opponent and then setting traps for them. There was wiretapping. False FISA warrant applications. An arranged "accidentally-on-purpose" meeting in a secretive place between an ex-President -- spouse of a candidate -- and an attorney general charged with investigating that candidate's security failures.  The pre-written exoneration letters apparently stored in the FBI's filing cabinets.

It culminated in James Comey committing a felony -- leaking classified FBI documents to a friend who could be trusted to pass them on to the press -- in order to specifically trigger an independent counsel.

Only in an America run by democrats (small 'd' intentional) can a man blatantly commit a felony and have his crime both ignored and used as a pretext to persecute someone else

Again, I'm no lawyer, but I've watched enough Law and Order to know this is an egregious and unprecedented abuse of power.

Mueller has gotten further and further from that original goal -- finding out if there were any Russians in the voting booths -- with each passing day. In retrospect it is looking as if that goal was always unattainable; one cannot find what does not exist.

His record to date fairly screams "trying to prove a negative...and failing".

He has been reduced to indicting the proverbial ham sandwiches in a desperate attempt to find something -- anything -- to pin on Trump, or to get someone to "flip", which probably means "lie" at this point.

The record thus far is clear:

He's charged a man with "lying to the government" who was told anything he said was off the record and also it wasn't an official interview, thus denying him the benefit of legal counsel under questioning.

He's indicted 13 "Russians" with various crimes from wire fraud to jaywalking knowing full well that not a single one of them will ever make an appearance in an American courtroom. He's charged a Russian consulting firm that didn't even exist at the time of the election with conspiracy and other crimes and when that firm's lawyers picked up that gauntlet with a request for discovery, suddenly Mueller's team goes silent and files frivolous motions to delay every Friday at 3:59 PM.

He's got Manafort in the dock and his star witness is an even-bigger (alleged) criminal who embezzled money from Manafort and left a chain of very unhappy mistresses in his wake. Money, incidentally, which seems to have come from Ukraine, not Russia.

The movers-and-shakers involved in this entire farce -- Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Michael Horowitz, James Comey, John Podesta, Terry MacAuliffe, Ralph Northam, Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, Donna Brazille, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Christopher Steele, Glenn Simpson -- and very often, their goddamned SPOUSES, too  -- Mueller's supposed "Dream Team" of dem party hatchetmen -- are all tainted. They are all the excretions of a system that was created to keep the self-appointed elite in power, by any and all means necessary (unless the powerful and elite are Republicans who beat the snot out of your candidate in a fair election and then it becomes a system in which the rules change continuously until someone sits in jail on the merest appearance of guilt).

Robert Mueller has to go. This dog-and-pony show has to come to an end.

That it doesn't disturbs me.

Giving Mueller credit for an intelligence he may not actually possess, any sane, rational man would come to the conclusion that if all he can manage is a tax-evasion case, a clear set-up to trip up the target of an investigation, a bunch of for-show indictments, several members of his team's obvious bias being exposed to the public, evidence gathered in an illegal manner by rogue investigators laboring under the impression that they are the ONLY authority in this country, and not a single conviction after two years, that he has no fucking case.

He should give up and go home.

But then the thought occurs to me that maybe he can't; considering what we know has been done in an effort to smear, falsely accuse, harass, destroy reputations, subvert the electoral process, cover the asses of people who have committed major crimes, warp the legal process, use the agency of government to surreptitiously run espionage campaigns on American citizens, one has to wonder:

What do they have on YOU, Mr. Mueller? Did they tell you about it?

For it is axiomatic that if the collective left went to this much trouble to cover for Hillary, it certainly went to the trouble to make sure those who are charged with laying the smokescreen could be destroyed, too.

All of this not only makes you a douche, Mr. Mueller, it makes you a cowardly douche, as well.

I hope when this is all said and done that someone looks into your behavior and gives you the full benefit of the crooked rules you're playing by right now. It would be poetic -- and real -- justice.
